Types Of Ration Card In Assam: Before applying for NFSA-13, there were three types of ration cards in the state, which were called certificates of Assam. These three types of ration cards are given.

•  APL (Above Poverty Line)
• BPL (Below Poverty Line)
•  AAY (Antodaya Anna Yojana) beneficiaries under PDS/TPDS.

Apart from this, another type of ration card was made available by the Assam government in the name of MMASY( Mukhya Mantrir Anna Suraksha Yojana) Card.

As soon as NFSA-13 is implemented, only two types of ration cards are available under NFSA-13.

• AAY Card under NFSA-13
• Priority Household Card under NFSA’13

Who Can Apply Ration Card In Assam 2022

1) The person who does not have ration card: The senior woman of a family earning less than Rs. 1,000,00.00 (one lakh) per annum is eligible for ration card under the National Food Security Act, 2013.

2) Similar ration card: If ration card is lost, or damaged, the authorities provide the same ration card at the specified price.

3. Person ration card in the former place: It is acceptable for government officials or persons who have been shifted from one place to another. In this case, surrender will be required by the food, civil supplies and consumer affairs authorities where the person had previously functioned. This certificate is jointed with ration card application form.

Required Documents for New Ration Card Assam 2022

1. Detailed particulars of family members
2. Copies of birth certificates of minor members(Below 10 years in age)
3. Certified copy of relevant page of Voter List
4. Copy of Tax Pay / Land Revenue Pay receipt
5. Surrender certificate of Ration Card/Family Identity holding or non-availability certificate from the FCS&CA authority where the applicant was previously resided.
6. Address Proof (attested copy of PAN Card /Driving License / Bank Passbook / Post Office Passbook /Municipal Holding receipt / Electricity Bill / Telephone Bill)
