Assam Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2023
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is an organization that operates a network of alternative schools known as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). The JNVs have recently announced an invitation for online applications from students across all states of India, including Assam, for admission to class VI for the academic year 2024-25. Students currently studying in class V at different primary schools in Assam are eligible to apply online for admission to JNV Class VI.
Eligibility Criteria of JNV Assam Admission
District Eligibility: Candidates can apply for admission to a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) only if they belong to the district where the JNV is situated.
Age: A candidate seeking admission must not have been born before 1st May 2012 and after 31st July 2014 (Both dates are inclusive).
Previous Admission: Candidate who has not been promoted and admitted to Class-V before 31st July, 2023 is not eligible to apply.
How to Apply for JNV Assam Admission
Students want to get admission into the class 6th under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Assam must apply online. They may follow below mentioned steps to submit their applications online.

A portal will load, Login using all required details carefully.
Select the Residential State and fill up the online form.
Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and necessary documents.
Take a print out of the filled up form, and keep for future reference.

Proof for date of birth.
Proofs for eligibility as per the conditions of NVS.
Residence Certificate in prescribed proforma in case of NIOS studies only.
Any other documents required.
For candidates seeking admission under rural quota, the parents will also have to submit a certificate from the competent authority to the effect that the child had studied in an Institution / School located in a rural area.

Syllabus of JNV Assam Test 2024-25
The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks
