The CBSE has cancelled the Class 10 board exams scheduled to begin from May 4 due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. It has announced that students will be promoted based on the internal assessments conducted by schools. The result will be prepared based on the objective criterion developed by CBSE. It has also announced that candidates who are not satisfied with the marks allocated will be given an opportunity to appear in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exam.
